The larger energy story

Why uranium is back in focus.

Growing electricity needs, dependable nuclear generation and a renewed focus on secure fuel supply are bringing uranium back into view.

01

Electricity demand is rising

Data centres, industry and electrification are increasing the need for dependable power in Canada and the United States.

02

Nuclear power delivers around the clock

Reactor life extensions and new nuclear projects are part of the response to growing round-the-clock electricity demand.

03

Fuel security is a policy priority

Canada and the United States are strengthening domestic and allied nuclear-fuel supply chains, beginning with access to uranium.

Policy context: Natural Resources Canada, Nuclear Energy Strategy for Canada, June 22, 2026; U.S. Energy Information Administration, January and March 2026 electricity outlooks.

How UraniumX fits

Exploration is where the supply story begins.

UraniumX is a Canadian exploration company working at the upstream end of the nuclear fuel chain. Its role is to gather field evidence, test rock in the laboratory and build the technical knowledge needed to evaluate each property.

01

Canadian project focus

The portfolio spans Saskatchewan's Athabasca region and North-Central Quebec, two established Canadian uranium settings.

02

Work that creates new information

Murphy Lake has moved from mapping and drilling to laboratory analysis, giving readers a clear project milestone to follow.

03

More than one route forward

UraniumX combines directly funded exploration, an earn-in project, partner-funded agreements and a proposed Quebec acquisition.

Company position

Capital, market access and a focused project strategy.

These company-level facts help explain how UraniumX is funding its work, allocating capital and making its shares accessible across its listed markets.

Funding

Funded for the current work program

As of February 28, 2026, UraniumX reported C$5.31 million in cash and C$5.98 million in working capital. Its July company presentation reports no long-term debt and funding through 2026.

Market access

Electronic settlement for U.S.-traded shares

UraniumX trades as STMN in Canada, STMXF in the United States and Q7S in Germany. DTC eligibility allows its U.S.-traded shares to clear and settle electronically through participating broker-dealers.

Capital allocation

Different funding paths across the portfolio

UraniumX funds Murphy Lake directly, while partner agreements can fund work at NeoCore and Zoo Bay. The proposed Dieter Lake acquisition uses shares and a royalty rather than company cash.

Flagship project · Murphy Lake

Completed fieldwork is building the next project update.

Murphy Lake covers 609 hectares in the northeast Athabasca Basin. UraniumX funded an expanded drill program that reached 4,092 metres across nine holes and six target areas.

2026 program

The original 2,500-metre plan expanded to 4,092 metres, with nine drill holes testing six target areas.

Field follow-up

Field readings helped identify two areas for closer study: more than 330 metres along the North Trend and nearly 1.3 kilometres along the South Trend.

Earlier property result

Hole ML22-006 returned 0.242% U3O8 over 0.5 metre within a wider mineralized interval at about 322.5 metres depth.

Location

Roughly 5 km from IsoEnergy's Hurricane deposit and about 3 km from the Murphy Lake North discovery, placing the project within an active uranium exploration district.

Next project update

Laboratory analysis will provide the next detailed data from the completed 2026 drill program.

Proposed acquisition · Quebec

A large Quebec uranium property with a defined technical pathway.

UraniumX has agreed to acquire 100% of Dieter Lake from Consolidated Uranium, an IsoEnergy subsidiary. Closing is expected in Q3 2026 following the customary closing process.

Property

Approximately 8,106 hectares across 168 mineral claims in one contiguous block.

Historical starting point

A 2006 historical estimate reported approximately 24.4 million pounds U3O8 and provides a starting point for the planned technical review.

Transaction terms

The proposed 100% acquisition is structured through 18 million UraniumX shares and a 2% net smelter returns royalty, with no cash consideration.

Shareholder alignment on closing

IsoEnergy, through Consolidated Uranium, is expected to hold approximately 15.6% of UraniumX on closing under a staged 16-month lock-up.

Project setting

Mineralization has been traced for about 6 km across four zones, with large areas available for modern exploration.

Next technical stage

Historical data review, confirmation drilling and an updated technical report form the pathway toward evaluation under current reporting standards.

Historical-estimate notice: A qualified person has not completed sufficient work to classify the historical estimate as a current mineral resource or mineral reserve. UraniumX is not treating it as current, and it should not be relied upon as a current estimate.

Partner-funded work planned

A large property positioned along the Athabasca Basin margin.

Zoo Bay is a 19,850-hectare exploration property on the northeast edge of the Athabasca Basin. The edge of the basin crosses the property, and the target depth ranges from surface to about 200 metres.

Property

Fifteen mineral claims located approximately 60 km from the McClean Lake mill.

Planned work

A 2,500-station ground gravity survey is designed to improve the underground structural map and identify areas for follow-up.

How the agreement works

Pond Technologies signed a letter of intent for an option to acquire the project. Under the proposed option, Pond funds the exploration work while UraniumX receives shares and retains exposure to the project.

Current stage

The next corporate milestone is completing the definitive agreement, followed by scheduling the planned survey.

Definitive partner option

Partner-funded exploration with retained project exposure.

NeoCore is a 13,012-hectare, six-claim property east of the Athabasca Basin in a district with roads, power and uranium processing infrastructure.

Location

About 65 km southeast of Cameco's McArthur River operation and roughly 80 km from the Key Lake mill.

How the agreement works

Gold'n Futures can earn 100% by completing cash, share and exploration commitments over 36 months.

What UraniumX retains

UraniumX receives 12 million Gold'n Futures shares and C$550,000 over the option term, retains a 2% royalty, and remains project operator during the option period.

Exploration funding

Gold'n Futures is responsible for C$2.75 million in exploration spending under the agreement.
